Karbonit Construction Incorporated ("we", "our", "us") operates the Chase Project Tracking mobile application. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and role provided during account creation by your employer.
• Work Data: Timesheet entries, project assignments, work area photos, tool check photos, and overtime records.
• Photos: Images you capture or upload for tool checks, work area documentation, receipts, and deficiency reports.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and a push notification device token (when you allow notifications) used to deliver work-related alerts to your device.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide construction site management and time tracking services.
• To generate work reports and analytics for project managers.
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• To improve the application and fix issues.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your work data is shared only with authorized managers and administrators within your organization. We may share data if required by law.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Photos and files are stored securely and accessible only to authorized users within your organization.

Camera and Photo Library

The app requests access to your camera and photo library solely for capturing and uploading work-related photos (tool checks, work areas, receipts, deficiency reports). Photos are uploaded to our secure servers and are not used for any other purpose.

Push Notifications

If you allow notifications when prompted, we use Apple's Push Notification service (APNs) to deliver alerts about tasks, deficiencies, schedule changes, and other work-related events assigned to you. When you grant permission, a device push token is generated by iOS and sent to our servers, where it is linked to your user account. We use this token only to deliver the work-related notifications described above and do not use it for advertising, analytics, or tracking across other apps or websites. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Karbonit, and signing out of the app removes your device's association with your account on our servers.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When your account is deactivated, your data may be retained for a reasonable period for legal and business purposes.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting your organization's administrator or by reaching out to us directly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the application.
